Elma 'Marie' Buehler

May 5, 1929 – December 14, 2018

Elma “Marie” Buehler, 89, a resident of Moses Lake, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 14, 2018. Viewing will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 19 at Kayser’s Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018 at the Warden First Baptist Church, 1017 S. Grant St. followed by interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Marie was born May 5, 1929 to Clyde and Wilma Little in Kingston, Ark. After graduating from Kingston High School, Marie attended Business college in Springfield, Mo. Shortly after, her family moved to Nampa, Idaho where she met Joe Buehler on a blind date. Joe and Marie were married Feb. 21, 1949. In 1954, they moved to Warden, Wash. Joe and Marie enjoyed their married life farming in Warden and raising three children Bonnie, Jay and Betty. Marie was an active member of the Warden Baptist Church and a women’s bowling team.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, four siblings, one grandson and her husband Joe Buehler.

Marie is survived by her brother Gerald Little, daughter Bonnie Neeley, son Jay (Delrae) Buehler, daughter Betty (Glenn) Ashford, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a charitable contribution in memory of Marie Buehler to Hospice of Moses Lake or Summerwood Alzheimer’s Care Center.
