Kennewick man not injured in semi accident

MOSES LAKE — A Kennewick man was not injured when he drove his semi off the roadway about 2 p.m. Friday.

Frederico Lopez, 56, was driving south about one mile from the Grant-Yakima county line on SR 243 when he lost control of his vehicle, according to a press release from the Washington State Patrol. Lopez drove off the roadway and the truck came to rest in the southbound ditch, the press release said. The truck, a 1996 Freightliner semi with a reefer trailer, was damaged but Lopez wasn’t injured.

He was cited for driving with wheels off the roadway.
