Family is key

Families are there to be a support system in everyday life. One should be able to trust and rely on family. Spending more time with each other means turning off the TV, going outside, or playing games as a family. Here in Moses Lake, there needs to be more activities families can do together. If there were events to do here, families would be a lot closer.

Personally, a family includes both parents, and all kids living together, but families can be different to everyone. It doesn’t matter who is in the family.

Part of the beauty of families is having traditions, whether it’s going out to eat every once in a while or eating Thanksgiving dinner together. In my family, we have an annual family reunion and we all have to say something that we love about the family. It’s these kinds of traditions I wouldn’t trade for the world. In my family we try and get together as much as we can because we don’t want anyone to be left out or unloved. In making decisions, and know that we are here in support.
