Building a shelter for the homeless

| December 13, 2018 2:00 AM

I am very concerned about the homeless people living on the Fill in Moses Lake. I would like to do something to help. Everyone needs a place to live, and with this cruel weather coming upon us, it’s going to make it harder for them to survive the cold. Even though there’s a shelter downtown, they cannot stay in them because they do not have children. There are currently 40 homeless people in Moses Lake, Wash. who could use the help.

In order to make a positive change in others’ lives, people need to be willing to put in the effort to help. Although Moses Lake does host events for the homeless people for warmth and entertainment, this doesn’t really do anything about their living situation, and that’s what we need to fix for the homeless.
