Moses Lake wrestling pins its way by Eastmont

| December 12, 2018 12:00 AM

EAST WENATCHEE — Jonathan Tanguma had a week to forget after a loss in the season-opening dual against Sunnyside and another second-round loss to league opponent Nathan Chang of Eastmont at the Inland Empire Invitational last weekend.

The good news was Tanguma did not have to wait long for another crack at Chang.

Tanguma reasserted himself with a second-round pin of Chang and Moses Lake returned to form in a rout of Eastmont 54-15.

Tanguma was one of several Chiefs to win by fall. Hunter White, Maximus Zamora, Camron Regan, Levi Carlos, Thomas Molitor and Sebastian Rodriguez all pinned their respective opponents.
