OTHELLO β€” A detailed look at wolves will be part of the 2019 Sandhill Crane Festival. Festival organizers announced Monday that Wolf Haven Internatonal will be among the presenters for 2019.

The 22nd annual festival is scheduled for March 22 through 24. Online registration opens Feb. 1.

Chris Montero, Wolf Haven International outreach coordinator, will bring an exhibit including skull replicas, life-size wolf cutouts, prey antlers and other displays and information, said festival co-chair Kurt Braunwart. Wolf Haven International is based in Tenino; it’s their first time as Sandhill Crane presenters.

Montero is a guide and field technician, scientific illustrator and has been teaching wildlife and conservation for National Geographic Student Expeditions in Brazil, Australia, Belize, Ecuador and the Canadian Arctic.
