February 12, 1947 – November 25, 2018

Janet K. Robnett, 71, longtime Moses Lake resident, passed away Nov. 25, 2018.

Janet Kaye Sasse was born Feb. 12, 1947 in Riverside, Wash. to Quentin and Genese Sasse. She grew up in the country outside of Tonasket, Wash. where she attended school, graduating in 1965 from Tonasket High School. She then went on to graduate from BBCC in Moses Lake, earning her AA degree.

She was a good cook and baker and an excellent seamstress. She practiced her cooking skills at a young age on her little sister Ella.

Before becoming a business owner, she was a stay-at-home mom for her two children Kim and Jon Korpinen. She was a 4-H and Campfire leader, soccer mom and later the proudest mom of a United States Marine.

Living most of her life outside of the city limits, she was a down-to-earth country girl and a seasoned mountain dweller.

Born a true redhead, Janet was stubborn yet kind, sweet yet sassy, and she was funny all the way to the end.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, son Jon and her best friend in life, her husband Kyle.

She is survived by her sister Ella Dilling and family, daughter Kim Korpinen, step-sons Shawn Robnett and family and Jeff Robnett and family to include her grandkids and great-grandkids. She is also survived by too many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends to list, and last but not least her very special caregiver family who loved her as if she was their own mom and grandma and kept her healthy and safe till the end.

There will be a celebration of life party for Janet at a later date. Please sign the online guestbook or leave a note for the family at www.kayserschapel.com. Arrangements are in care of Kayser’s Chapel & Crematory.
