Nov. 30

Report of theft from a business at 601 S. Pioneer Way. Reporting party said two unidentified men took an axe and left the scene in a small black pickup.

Report of disturbance at Frontier Middle School, 517 W. Third Ave. Students allegedly had a fight on the basketball court before school. Students were suspended; charges are pending.

Report of student assaulting teacher at Frontier Middle School, 1111 E. Nelson Road. Case is still under investigation.

Report of student harassing a teacher by throwing rocks at her at Sage Point Elementary, 4000 W. Peninsula Dr. Student fled on foot but was caught by the principal and was suspended.

Report of mail theft and fraud at a business at 1201 E. Yonezawa Blvd. Reporting party said checks had been stolen from the business mailbox over Thanksgiving weekend. Attempts had been made to cash four checks at various locations, with attempts made to add money to the checks.

Report of vehicle prowl at South A Street and West Lakeside Drive. Victim said her purse, containing credit cards and cash, was stolen.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at Moses Lake High School, 803 E. Sharon Ave. Driver of vehicle 1 pulled out of the MLHS parking lot and hit vehicle 2.

Report of non-injury vehicle and bicycle accident at the intersection of West Broadway and South Schneirla avenues. Male and female said they were crossing the street and unknown female suspect deliberately hit the bike. Car was described as a dark Pontiac Grand Prix,

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the West Third Street and South Alder Street. Driver of vehicle 1 opened the driver’s door and a utility trailer pulled by vehicle 2 hit the door.

Report of theft at a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd. The male suspect, no age listed, allegedly attempted to take items from the store to a waiting vehicle.

Report of vandalism near a business in the 200 block of West Third Avenue. Victim said unknown suspects threw rocks at her car, damaging the windshield and a door.

Report of attempted burglary at a residence in the 1100 block of South Eastlake Drive. Unknown suspects kicked in the reporting party’s door, but fled the scene when the home alarm system activated.

Report of attempted burglary in the 1200 block of South Eastlake Drive. Signs of forced entry, but nothing stolen.

Dec. 1

Report of vandalism at a residence in the 2100 block of West Willow Street. Unknown suspects threw a rock through the house’s front window.

A man, no age listed, was arrested for DUI.

A woman, no age listed, was arrested for DUI.

Report of assault at a residence in the 1300 block of East Yost Circle. Reporting party said the male suspect came into the house, pointed a gun at one victim and shoved the second victim. Suspect was wearing black clothing and left the scene in a black 218 Chevrolet Silverado truck.

Report of theft at a residence in the 1000 block of West Ivy Avenue. Reporting party said her Christmas lights were stolen.

A 30-year-old man was arrested for two outstanding Grant County warrants after a verbal altercation at a residence in the 500 block of North Grape Drive.

A woman, no age listed, was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant after she was stopped for driving without lights.

Report of obstacle in the roadway near Blue Heron Park. Beaver chopped down a tree which fell in the roadway and the reporting party ran into it. Tree was disposed of by the Moses Lake Fire Department.

Report of one-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road. Driver of vehicle said he experienced a mechanical breakdown while turning, running off the road and hitting a concrete barrier.

Report of hit and run accident at a business at 1607 W. Broadway Ave. Unknown vehicle drove through the fence.

Report of vehicle prowl at a business at 302 W. Broadway Ave. Unknown suspects stole clothing, a backpack and consumer electronics.

A 33-year-old man was arrested on outstanding Grant County and Washington Department of Corrections warrants. He ran into a residence in the 1400 block of Grape Drive, but came out after about 30 minutes.

Report of burglary at a residence in the 1100 block of West Lakeside Drive. Unknown suspects broke a window to get into the residence and stole consumer electronics. Estimated value was $2,000.

A man, no age listed, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence) and third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Report of theft from a residence in the 100 block of West Northshore Drive. Victim said unknown suspects took Christmas decorations from her yard.

Report of theft from a business at 1105 N. Stratford Rd. Unidentified female suspect failed to scan all merchandise at checkout.

Report of theft from a residence in the 2100 block of South Belair Drive. Unknown suspect stole a propane tank sometime overnight.

Report of vandalism at a residence in the 1000 block of West Bruce Street. Unknown suspect splashed the car with a substance that damaged the paint.

A 39-year-old man and 32-year-old woman were arrested on outstanding warrants.

Trevor Schaffer, 25, Warden, was booked into the Grant County Jail on an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for second-degree driving with a suspended license and buying/selling a vehicle with an altered serial number.

Christopher Schwaller, 51, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant for possession of controlled substances.

Guadalupe Gonzalez, 30, Moses Lake,was booked on an outstanding Adams County warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license, and an outstanding Kittitas County warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Cecila Clark, 36, Grand Coulee, was booked on an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant for possession of methamphetamines.

Cedric Small, 42, Moses Lake, was booked for possession of cocaine, third-degree driving with a suspended license and an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Matthew Fredley, 40, Moses Lake, was booked for second-degree theft and retail theft with special circumstances.

Franco de Jesus Diaz, 25, Mattawa, was booked for first-degree robbery (domestic violence) and violation of a no-contact order.

Anthony Lucio, 33, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding WDOC warrant for malicious mischief while armed with a deadly weapon.

Menika Clemens, 29, Kennewick, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for fourth-degree assault and an outstanding WDOC warrant.

Lexus Zarbok, 24, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCSC warrant for possession of a controlled substance and third-degree theft, and an outstanding King County warrant for being in physical control of a vehicle while intoxicated.

Courtney McKeever, 30, Moses Lake, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for DUI and first-degree driving with a suspended license.

Dennis Flint, 71, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for first-degree criminal trespassing.

Cassandra Warlitner, 30, Quincy, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for two counts of third-degree driving with a suspended license and an outstanding Kittitas County warrant.

Veronica Chavez Ramirez, 33, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for failure to pay child support.

Timothy Jensen, 37, Coulee City, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Donald Burgeis, 33, Moses Lake, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for two counts of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), violation of a no-contact order and third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence).

Lazaro Bautista Rodriguez, 29, George, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence).
