Reflections on newsmakers

Why don’t you say whether or not the people who make the Columbia Basin Herald’s front page are citizens or illegal aliens?

If I were a citizen of Eastern Washington reading the CBH, I would certainly want to know whether the citizens breaking into houses, shooting firearms at law enforcement officers, and causing 100 mph police chases down Highway 17 were registered US citizens or not.

Washington state legislator Matt Manweller married a former student. She was a high school sophomore when he was her teacher. At one time, I was a high school teacher. Like Mr. Manweller, I had several attractive young women in my classes. My responsibility was to teach them math, chemistry and computer classes, not to court them.

Mr. Manweller’s alleged inability to leave attractive young women along seems to have finally caught up with him.

I was told that the middle classes shun infidelity, that it only runs in the high or low classes of society. Which of these classes does Mr. Manweller belong to?
