Nellie Ruth (Wood) Fulmer

May 25, 1931 – August 22, 2018

Nellie Ruth (Wood) Fulmer went to be with the Lord Aug. 22, 2018. Nell was a resident at the Coventry House in Othello at the time of her death.

Nell was born May 25, 1931 in Hansen, Idaho where she grew up. She married Bud Fulmer in 1953. She and her husband then moved to Warden, Wash. in 1960 where they began farming. In August of 1958 they adopted their daughter Tamala Ann. Nell dedicated her life as a loving caretaker to her daughter and those around her. As a hobby she also loved making porcelain dolls, painting them and dewing their costumes. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Warden and sang in the choir. She will be greatly missed by her family, but we look forward to the reunion when wall reach our fathers home in heaven.

Nell was preceded in death by her husband Bud as well as her parents W.G. Wood and Ludie A. Wood of Hansen, Idaho; three brothers Daniel, Homer and Deuane Wood and two sisters Mary Ellen Frankhouser and Betty Robinson.

Nell is survived by her daughter Tamala Ann Fulmer, a sister Lois Eldridge, of Fallon, Nev., a brother Kenneth Wood and wife Mary of Moses Lake, Wash. and many nieces and nephews.

A picnic in the park is planned for a celebration of life for friends and family on Sept. 16, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Kiwanis Park in Othello, Wash. The park is located at the corner of South Seventh Avenue and East Scootney Street. Refreshments will be served.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Alzheimer’s research would be appreciated.
