| August 22, 2018 1:00 AM

PASCO — A semi-truck driver from Moses Lake was injured Tuesday morning when he rolled a semi in Pasco.

About 7:40 a.m. Timothy Robertson, 40, of Moses Lake, was driving a 2011 Freightliner semi-truck and trailer south on state Route 347 at James Street in Pasco when he reportedly failed to negotiate a curve. The semi rolled and came to a rest blocking the intersection, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Robertson was injured and transported to Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco for treatment. The semi-truck was totaled and towed from the scene. The road was blocked for almost three hours as crews cleared the scene and the collision was investigated.

The patrol reports the cause of the collision was Robertson speeding too fast for conditions. Robertson was cited for second-degree negligent driving.
