Fire officials: Cause of residential Othello fire is unknown

OTHELLO — Fire officials are labeling the cause of a residential in Othello earlier this month as unknown.

The fire broke out in the early morning hours of Aug. 4 and firefighters with Adams County Fire District No. 5 responded to the scene, with Adams County Sheriff’s Office Deputies providing support with traffic control.

The fire was reportedly located in between two structures and was quickly stomped out by firefighters. ACFD No. 5 Capt. Randy Guse said the district is labeling the cause of the fire as unknown. Guse said the two homes suffered minor fire-related damages. There was no reported injuries or other structures damaged.
