1 injured in semi collision near Othello

OTHELLO — One person was injured in a collision involving two semi-trucks near Othello on Tuesday.

Adams County deputies responded to the crash at the intersection of Lee Road and South Lemaster Road, east of Othello, about 12:35 p.m. The sheriff’s office reports one of the semi-trucks was traveling south on Lemaster Road and the other was heading east on Lee Road. The semi on Lemaster Road reportedly failed to stop at the stop sign and collided with the other semi.

The identities of the drivers of the semis have not been released, but at least one of the drivers received injuries and was transported to Othello Community Hospital for treatment. Deputies are investigating the collision and citations are pending.
