Levi Breiling

| August 13, 2018 3:00 AM

Levi “Trench” Joshua Breiling passed away on July 21, 2018 at the age of 24 after losing a long-fought battle against the emotional cancer of depression.

Levi touched the lives of countless people from many walks of life, always generous and willing to lend a hand. Levi will forever be remembered for his courage and strength — he often shouldered others’ burdens with them. Ultimately Levi’s own burdens became too heavy, and he chose to end his inner turmoil by taking his own life. As his family, we hope he finally found the peace he sought for so long, though we’ll never know for certain and wish instead he had found peace in life.

Levi was loved by many, had an infectious smile, was always armed with a crack wit and had the ability to observe often overlooked details. He enjoyed drawing, creating art, botany, skating, bartering, music, and spending time with his many friends.

Levi is survived by his parents Jeffery and Marne Breiling, birth mother Tiffany Findlay, siblings Nicole Miles (Breiling) and Joshua Breiling, sons Jayden Hall and Liam Meador and daughter Ember Breiling-Gerfen.

A service will be held on Aug. 25 at 10:30 a.m. For details, contact Marne Breiling.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Levi’s name to either Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery or Cup of Cool Water, both wonderful organizations in Spokane, Wash.
