Memory Café cancels meeting

EPHRATA — The Community Memory Cafe, a monthly support group for people with memory loss, canceled its August meeting. It was canceled to allow members to attend Senior Day at the Grant County Fair.

The next meeting will be from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Sept. 10 at the Ephrata United Methodist Church, 117 Northwest C St. The meeting will move to the second Monday of the month and the group will have a new leader.

Community Memory Cafe is a “social gathering for persons with memory loss,” wrote Dolores Pheasant, who’s affiliated with the group. It includes a variety of activities for attendees.
