Othello cardboard recycling center reopens Friday

OTHELLO — The Adams County Bruce Transfer Station, which was damaged by a weekend fire, will be closed through Thursday and reopen to the public on Friday.

The fire at the cardboard recycling center, located in the 500 block of South Lucy Road, caused extensive damages at the location on Sunday. The fire is still under investigation and Adams County Fire District No. 5 officials said they are awaiting more information before they finalize their report and are able to disclose the cause of the blaze.
