Rep. Newhouse holding Veterans Service Fair in Moses Lake on Wednesday

MOSES LAKE — Fourth Congressional District Rep. Dan Newhouse will be holding a "Veterans Service Fair" in Moses Lake on Wednesday.

The free event is open to veterans and their families and will be held in the Masto Conference Center at Big Bend Community College from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“Various attendees from the health care, employment, and Veterans Affairs sectors have offered their resources and will be joining us to help veterans navigate the benefits and services available to them,” reads a statement from Newhouse’s office.

In addition, the Mobile Vet Center, which is operated by the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, will be present to offer one-one-one counseling to veterans on benefits. Organizers are also planning to provide assistance with VA claims and benefits paperwork, resources for employment and education, information on the G.I. Bill and how to apply for earned service medals.
