July 29
Report of vandalism at a residence in the 2000 block of West Lakeside Drive. Reporting party said suspect threw eggs and salsa at the residence.
Report of vehicle prowl at a residence in the 1300 block of South Monroe Street. Unknown suspects stole sunglasses, estimated value about $250.
Report of theft from the Surf ‘n Slide water park, 401 W. Fourth Ave. Phone was stolen from the water park; it was recovered from a suspect near Peninsula Elementary School.
Report of three-vehicle, minor injury accident at North Stratford Road and West Valley Road. Drivers of all three vehicles were northbound; driver of vehicle 1 ran into the back of vehicle 2, and vehicle 2 rear-ended vehicle 3. Driver of vehicle 2 complained of stiff neck and back, but no ambulance was requested.
Report of possible fraud involving a house offered for rent online. The reporting party discovered the suspect had no involvement with the property and that it had already been rented.
A 40-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
A man, no age listed, was arrested for possession of controlled substances and second-degree burglary.
Report of vandalism at a residence in the 1800 block of West Broadway Avenue. Reporting party said unknown suspects broke a window.
July 30
A 32-year-old man was arrested for possession of heroin and two outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
Report of a knife stolen out of a vehicle in the 400 block of West Ridge Road.
Report of numerous items stolen out of a vehicle in the 900 block of West Oregon Street.
A man reported two transients he let stay at his home on South Fairbanks Drive stole several items from the house.
Report of a hit-and-run collision at the intersection of North Stratford Road and Mart Road. A black Honda Accord fled the scene after the collision.
An intoxicated male was arrested after he assaulted a woman in the 1700 block of West Lee Street.
A dead dog was picked up in the area of West Broadway Avenue and South Barbara Avenue. The dog was taken to the animal shelter for disposal.
Police assisted Child Protective Services with the removal of children from their mother on North Evelyn Drive. While at the scene police contacted a separate male suspect who was found to be in possession of heroin.
Aug. 1
A man and woman were cited for criminal trespassing at a business in the 100 block of West Broadway Avenue.
Report of a burglary alarm at a business in the 100 block of West Third Avenue. The building was secured and nothing appeared to be missing or damaged.
Report of a suspicious vehicle in the 2400 block of West Texas Street. Police could not locate the vehicle.
Police were not able to locate a suspect who made fraudulent returns at Walmart.
A woman punched a hole in a wall at Walmart.
Report of a male and female stealing two carts of merchandise from Walmart and fleeing the scene.
An unknown male suspect attempted to steal a cart full of items from Safeway. The suspect was stopped by a store employee and left the store before police arrived.
An unknown person stole a trailer from an abandoned house in the 9800 block of Olympic Drive Northeast.
Police responded to a non-injury rollover collision at Cascade Park. The driver was not cited and admitted to be aggravated as he was driving.

A woman reported that her ex, against whom she has restraining orders, was sitting in a vehicle near her. She further reported that she believed his was armed.
A business reported that an employee’s vehicle had been broken into during the night.
A man reported that his neighbor was threatening him.

A man reported that his son’s mother was harassing him by phone and text.

Artur Voznyy, no age listed, Soap Lake, was booked for possession of controlled substances and on an outstanding GCDC warrant for failing to pay child support.
Jose Tenhonen, 21, Soap Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree theft.
William Jacobsen, 33, Moses Lake, was booked for second-degree rape.
David Grant, 41, Spokane, was booked for violation of a no-contact order.
