AppleSox let late lead get away against Lefties

WENATCHEE — Port Angeles scored three runs in the eighth inning and rallied to beat Wenatchee 5-3.

The AppleSox led 3-2 before the Lefties strung together their eighth-inning spurt. Evan Pace and Kyle Schimpf hit RBI singles and Brady Held scored on a wild pitch.

Wenatchee scored one run apiece in the third, fourth and sixth inning.

Mason Marenco hit an RBI single in the third that scored Michael Spellacy.

In the fourth inning, Kody Darcy stole home plate.

Joey Magro scored on a balk in the sixth inning.

Marenco finished 3-for-4 with an RBI.
