SR-24 closed for wildfire

OTHELLO — State Route 24 was closed at a little after 6 p.m. Thursday between Othello and Road 24 SW in Grant County, according to a release from the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
The closure was due to a wildfire in Adams County, the release said. No reopening time was given, but the highway was expected to remain closed for at least two hours. Meanwhile, northbound traffic was being diverted to SR-26.
No other information was available at press time.
