STATE OF WASHINGTON DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY NOTICE OF REVISION TO AN AIR POLLUTION SOURCE Vantage Data Centers (VDC) operates a data center at 2101 M Street NE in Quincy. VDC determined they can successfully operate with a lower number of smaller engine/generators than are currently approved for their site. VDC indicates the 17 3-MW engine/generators already approved for their facility can be replaced with seven 3-MW engines (two additional for the first building) and eight 2.75-MW engine/generators (instead of the 10 3-MW engine/generators approved) in the buildings yet to be constructed. With this change, all air pollutants will decrease. Ecology determined this project meets all requirements specified in Chapter 173-400 WAC. A public hearing will be held if Ecology determines there is significant public interest. Comment period Comments will be accepted from Aug. 2 through Sept. 7, 2018.
