Wahluke Soccer drops match to Royal City, beats Connell

MATTAWA — The Warriors went 1-1 this past week in SCAC soccer action. Wahluke was turned back by the Knights 3-1 in a hard fought physical battle Royal City Friday, April 20.
The Warrior took down Connell 2-1 in Mattawa April 13.
The Warriors now at 4-3 in conference action and 8-4-1 overall are tied with the Eagle for third place in the standings with three games left to play. Wahluke hosted Warden Tuesday, but the result of the match was not available at press time. The Warriors close out the regular season on the road at Kiona-Benton Friday, and at College Place May 1. The team is a sure bet to qualify for postseason play.
