Othello boys golf posts six-year low
QUINCY — Othello recorded its lowest team total in six years to defeat Quincy 323-363 and Wapato 323-377.
Patrick Azevedo, Sam Azevedo, Isaiah Garza and Julian McDonald all posted season-best scores.
Patrick Azevedo shot 71 to earn medalist honors. McDonald cracked 100 to qualify for the CWAC district tournament.

Ephrata bests East Valley, Prosser
SOAP LAKE — Ephrata received low scores on the back end to beat East Valley and Prosser.
The Tigers’ lineup had no one shoot higher than 93, totaling 344 to the Red Devils’ 367 and the Mustangs’ 467.
East Valley’s Drew Davis edged Ephrata’s Jayce Moore by two strokes to finish first; Davis carded 76 while Moore shot 78.

Ephrata falls to host Ellensburg
ELLENSBURG — Without two-time state champion Kenedee Peters, Ephrata girls golf fell to Ellensburg 375-406.
Peters is competing in a tournament in California this weekend.
Isabel Buchert led the Tigers with a score of 93.

East Valley 1, Quincy 0 (SO)
QUINCY — Quincy fell to East Valley 1-0 in a shootout.
The loss dropped Quincy to fifth in the CWAC standings.
After a scoreless 90 minutes, the Red Devils made all of their penalty kicks to edge the Jacks who missed two.
Quincy will now travel to Grandview on Tuesday for its first district game. The Jacks split two games with the Greyhounds this season.
