Lorraine A. Anderson
July 6, 1939 – April 17, 2018
Lorraine A. Anderson, 78, of Wilson Creek, Wash. passed away on Tuesday, April 17 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Moses Lake. She was born on July 6, 1939 in Pepin, Wis. to Jess and Thelma Seifert.
Lorraine loved sewing, knitting, crocheting and bingo. She also enjoyed comedy and good movies when she was still able to go. She like watching Dr. Pol, dinosaur movies especially Godzilla, and all wrestling except college. Lorraine read fantasy and romance books too. Roses were her favorite, but she loved all kinds of flowers. She also loved Dragons and Bells almost more than her kids. Don’t forget everything that her husband made.
Lorraine enjoyed going on trips with her husband Kenneth until he passed away in 2012, and sometimes liked to go with her kids. She was as stubborn as a mule. She also loved to go gambling mostly to play slots. Lorraine used to go to the Grant County Fair when they still had bingo and Spaceburgers. Lorraine loved people, mostly her family. She donated to the fire department, police department and Wounded Warriors.
Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth O. Anderson; her parents Jess and Thelma Seifert and three sons, Kenneth W. “Sam” Anderson, Jimmy Lee Anderson, and David A. Anderson. She would always talk to her sister Dorothy Petrak until she passed away.
Lorraine is survived by her son Jesse Anderson of Wilson Creek, Wash.; daughter Cherily (Terry) Schultz of Spokane, Wash.; two grandsons Kenneth Stephens of Port Orchard, Wash. and Airic Anderson of Wilson Creek, Wash.; one great-granddaughter Elizabeth Alexandria Stephens of Port Orchards, Wash.; brothers Mike Seifert of Spokane, Wash. and Ron Seifert of Walla Walla, Wash. and sister Thelma of Arizona.
