NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT AN OPEN RECORD PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD May 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Grant County Commissioners Hearing Room, Courthouse, Ephrata, WA to consider the following budget extension requests: Budget extension request in the amount of $902,000.00 for the grandstand bleacher replacement project (permitting, waste disposal and miscellaneous expenses). $500,000.00 was obtained from a State Health and Safety Grant. The balance will be paid from the sale of the fairgrounds property. Budget extension request in the amount of $12,050.70 to install an auto-sampling device for the Fairgrounds discharge water to the City of Moses Lake Sewer System. This device is an ISCO brand equipment and will be purchased from Whitney Equipment as it is currently installed on the system and is compatible. Funding will come from the County Fairgrounds Sewer Project monies. Budget extension request in the amount of $150,611.88 to purchase equipment and hire personnel for security enhancements to the Law and Justice Building. This will include a Rapiscan X-Ray Screening System, Walk-though Metal Detector, Miscellaneous construction costs and Phoenix Protective Corp. personnel. Funding is being requested from the Trial Court Improvement fund. Budget extension request in the amount of $11,087.78 to purchase carpet for the Prosecuting Attorney's Office. Bond funds were previously going to be used to fund this project but they are no longer available. Funding will come from Law and Justice funds. Notice of Application April 25, 2018 Notice is hereby given that a Short Subdivision application was received by Grant County on April 9, 2018 from Randeel Bergeson (Designated Contact: Columbia Northwest Engineering (Phillip Bloom), 249 N. Elder St., Moses Lake, WA 98837) was found to be technically complete on April 19, 2018. PROJECT: A Short Subdivision of one parcel that is approximately 27.29 acres in size to create two (2) lots in the Agriculture (AG) zoning district. Lot 1 will be approximately 1.92 acres in size and contains the existing residence, detached garage, shop, well house, and associated drainfield.
