Mattawa Police Department partners with NIXLE
MATTAWA — The Mattawa Police Department has recently partnered with NIXLE, a notification service to provide residents with immediate alerts and information.
NIXLE is a mass-notification system that partners with local police departments and emergency services to send messages to local residents via phone and email.
This allows for emergency alerts and information to be sent out instantly.
Alerts and advisory information will also be broadcast in Spanish and linked to the Mattawa Police Department Facebook page.
For Mattawa area updates, text “mattawapd” to 888-777! to begin receiving immediate alerts.
