Richard Abel

January 14, 1937 – April 12, 2018

Richard Abel, 81, entered heaven on April 12, 2018. He was born Jan. 14, 1937 to Claud and Martha Abel.

Richard was a member and past president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Ephrata, Wash. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and NRA instructor. He loved dancing and playing his fiddle.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents Claud and Martha; the love of his life, his wife of fifty years, Louise Abel and his daughter Joann. He is survived by his children Richard, Dee Dee, Paula, David, Jackie, Robert, Micki, Wayne, Bill, Kathie and Dan and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There will be a viewing at 10 a.m. with service following at 12 noon at Miller Woodlawn Funeral home in Bremerton, Wash. on April 20, 2018.
