April 14
Report of vehicle prowl at a residence in the 1200 block of West Franklin Street. Victim said her purse was stolen; the purse contained a credit card. Charges from Ephrata businesses showed up on the credit card soon after the theft.
A 28-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant after a short foot pursuit.
Report of vandalism in the 4000 block Northeast Longview Street. Reporting party said a tire on a family vehicle was slashed.
Report of attempted phone fraud in the 300 block of West Northshore Drive. Reporting party said he received a call from a person claiming to be from the IRS. He didn’t provide personal information.
A 27-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
Report of theft from a residence in the 900 block of East Cherry Avenue. Reporting party said jewelry was stolen from the residence over the previous few days.
Report of theft from a business at 601 S. Pioneer Way. Unknown suspect allegedly concealed items in a handbag.
Report of theft at a business at 3206 W. Lakeshore Court. Victim said he left his vehicle unlocked at the business for several weeks. Sometime last week unknown suspects broke into the vehicle and stole custom stereo equipment, valued at about $3,500.
A 40-year-old man was booked for possession of controlled substances and third-degree theft, and a 35-year-old woman was arrested for second-degree burglary and third-degree theft. The two allegedly was caught while attempting to steal merchandise from a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd.
April 15
Report of taxi driver finding pouch with drugs (crystal meth and heroin) in the vehicle. Passenger called to get it back; he was contacted by law enforcement. When officers talked to him he allegedly was carrying burglary tools. The suspect, a 24-year-old man was arrested for possession of heroin with intent to deliver, possession of methamphetamines with intent to deliver and making or possessing burglary tools.
A man, no age given, was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.
A 26-year-old man was arrested on outstanding Grant County warrants for possession of methamphetamines, possession of heroin, fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and third-degree theft.
A 58-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Grant County misdemeanor warrant.
A 47-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant. The man was located at a residence in the 1100 block of West Abbey Road while law enforcement was investigating another case.
April 16
Recovery of stolen vehicle. Officers found the vehicle in the 600 block of South Division Street, unoccupied with hazard lights flashing and a broken passenger side window.
Report of vandalism at a residence in the 4000 block of Northeast Longview Street. Reporting party said she found a bedroom window broken when she got home from work. Nothing was stolen from the home.
A 23-year-old man was arrested for possession of heroin.
A juvenile girl was arrested on an outstanding Grant County juvenile misdemeanor warrant.
Report of vandalism at a business at 601 S. Pioneer Way. Unknown suspect was angry about an attempt to return merchandise, and threw the merchandise at the business’s front window.
Report of stolen bicycle at a residence in the 1000 block of West Lakeside Drive. Reporting party found a different bike in place of his bike.
Report of two-vehicle, minor injury accident at Northeast Randolph Road and Northeast Tyndall Road. Driver of vehicle 1 passed traffic slowing down, and ran into vehicle 2, which was turning left. Vehicle 1 was a motorcycle, and the driver was taken to Samaritan Hospital. He was cited for improper passing, no motorcycle endorsement and third-degree driving with a suspended license.

A 39-year-old woman was arrested on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant.

Wesley Armstead. 25. of Tacoma, was arrested and booked for obstruction, resisting arrest, fourth-degree assault, disorderly conduct and third-degree malicious mischief.
Jaime Torres, 40, of Warden, was arrested and booked for DUI and third-degree driving with a suspended license.
Christopher Guertin, no age listed, Warden, was booked into the Grant County Jail on outstanding Grant County warrants for DUI and two counts of second-degree driving with a suspended license.
Luis Cruz Camacho, no age listed, Moses Lake, was booked on outstanding Grant County warrants for two counts of third-degree driving with a suspended license.
Jonathan Davis, 20, Moses Lake, was booked for possession of a stolen vehicle, theft of a firearm, second-degree theft (access device), second-degree vehicle prowl and third-degree theft.
