Ephrata boys golf wins comfortably over Ellensburg, Wapato

ELLENSBURG — Ephrata boys golf handled CWAC opponents Ellensburg and Wapato at the Ellensburg Golf and Country Club.

The Tigers had the low score of 342, far ahead of Ellensburg’s 372 and Wapato’s 455.

Jayce Moore was the individual medalist, cracking the 70s to card 79. Tiger teammates Jacob Rawley (81) and Ty Smith (86) led a balanced lineup.

Max Boruff (96), Buster Davidson (99) and Cody Follett (99) rounded out Ephrata’s scores.

In other CWAC action, Othello picked up a pair of wins over East Valley (374-407) and Selah (374-376).

Both squads travel to Gamble Sands on Wednesday.
