Moses Lake Police Department
April 6
Report of stolen car in the 200 block of West Knolls Vista Drive. The car was stolen sometime overnight and is described as a 2009 Cadillac Escalade with chrome rims.
A 30-year-old man was arrested for trespassing at the Moses Lake Public Library, 418 Fifth Ave. The man was sleeping in the entryway and refused to leave when requested by law enforcement.
An 18-year-old man turned himself into law enforcement on an outstanding out-of-county warrant.
Report of stolen vehicle at a residence in the 1100 block of West Market Street. Subject had used car in the past, but had been told she couldn’t use the vehicle on that occasion. The subject also took the reporting party’s wallet.
Report of fraud. Victim said a check was stolen from his mailbox and cashed at a local bank.
Report of trespassing in the 1100 block of Luta Street. Reporting party said family member saw a male subject looking in the window of the residence. Subject is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall, clean-shaven, wearing a black hoodie and black hat.
A 28-year-old woman was cited for third-degree theft after allegedly attempting to steal about $45 in merchandise from a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd.
A 26-year-old woman was arrested for DUI after she had driven onto the sidewalk and was found asleep at the wheel holding an open container of alcohol.
A 23-year-old man was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
April 7
A 29-year-old man was cited for DUI. His vehicle was towed.
Report of vehicle prowl at a residence in the 1300 block of East Englund Drive. Reporting party said unknown suspects broke into his truck, took consumer electronics and three pairs of sunglasses.
Report of home invasion in the 4200 block of Northeast Longview Street. Reporting party said two subjects kicked in her front door, stole two cell phones and punched her in the face.
Report of vandalism at a residence in the 800 block of South C Street. Reporting party said kids damaged his front window with a BB gun.
A 20-year-old man was arrested on an active Washington Department of Corrections warrant and two local misdemeanor warrants.
