April 5

Report of possible theft at a residence in the 700 block of South Hawthorne Drive. A man came to the house and began to mow the lawn, although no one had requested the service. He then went to a neighboring house and began to mow that lawn. Subject stopped when he was told the reporting party hadn’t requested a lawn-mowing service. Neighbor later informed the reporting party items were missing from his residence. The man was described as an older Hispanic driving a box-type red car.

Report of fraud. Unknown suspects used the reporting party’s name and Social Security number to buy phones and tablet in Everett.

A 17-year-old boy was cited for third-degree theft from a business at 1020 N. Stratford Rd. The merchandise was recovered.

Report from theft from a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd. Two subjects were not scanning items through the self-checkout.

Report of one-vehicle accident in the 700 block of West Third Avenue. Driver of vehicle 1 ran over a construction sign. Driver said he couldn’t change lanes in time. Underside of car was damaged, spilling fluids on roadway.

A man, no age listed, was arrested on an outstanding Grant County misdemeanor warrant.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of West Mart Road and North Stratford Road. Vehicle 1 was making a left turn onto Mart Road and failed to yield to vehicle 2.

A man, no age listed, was cited for third-degree theft after he allegedly stole ice cream and toppings from a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd.

A male caller reported that his stepfather was causing problems and pushing his mother around.

A man reported an ongoing problem with dogs bothering him while he was walking.

A man reported that his girlfriend had beaten him up in Walmart.

A woman reported that some family members had asked her to hide their car and said that they were being followed.

A woman reported a broken window on her vehicle.

A 23-year-old male was reported breaking things and hitting a dog.

A man reported a suspicious male at his house.

April 5

Anthony Garcia, no age listed, Moses Lake, was booked into the Grant County Jail on an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for resisting arrest.

Jose Contreras Torres, 30, Quincy, was booked on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant and outstanding GCDC warrants for second-degree criminal trespassing, obstructing law enforcement and third-degree theft.

Gil Birrueta Cajina, 25, Quincy, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for harassment.

Isabel Rocha, 57, Moses Lake, was booked for three counts of child molestation.

Jorge Suarez Galvan, 23, no address listed, was booked on an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant for first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.

Zackery Mayer, no age listed, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Erika Mondragon, 27, Wenatchee, was booked for possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of controlled substances.
