Mid-Columbia Reads Jr. Features New York Times Bestselling Author Deborah Diesen
Mid-Columbia Libraries (MCL) celebrates its Mid-Columbia Reads Jr. literary festival with four presentations by Deborah Diesen, New York
Times bestselling author of “The Pout-Pout Fish.”
The author of many beloved children’s picture books, Diesen most recently published “Pippa & Percival, Pancake & Poppy;” her book “The Pout-Pout Fish and the Can’t Sleep Blues” will be published in August.
Diesen’s presentation is geared towards preschoolers and their families, but all ages are welcome. There will be a book signing after her talk; customers are encouraged to bring their own books if they have them.
Additional Mid-Columbia Reads Jr. programs include NovelTeas Jr., a pairing of teas and juvenile fiction, on April 14 and special visits by middle grade and young adult fiction authors Matthew J. Kirby and Elizabeth Eulberg on April 18 and 19, respectively.
