Fresh News Report from MarDon Resort

The current water level on the Potholes reservoir is 1,043 feet. The water temperature on the main reservoir is 42 degrees, and 50 degrees back in the sand dunes. The gates have been opened and the Potholes Canal is flowing — filling Soda Lake. This water flow will draw fish to the mouth of the canal where it enters the lake.

Quality Largemouth bass are being caught back in the dunes on swimbaits, swim jigs, punch rigs, and jig with a craw trailer. Reports of several fish in the 4-6 pound range have come in. A few Smallmouth bass are being caught in Lind Coulee on crankbaits. Trout are being caught in the Seep Lakes on Glitter Mallows, Power Bait, and or worms. Not much happening off the MarDon Dock yet — but it will be picking up soon for trout and crappie as the water temp rises. No reports on walleye this week.

We are still running our Spring Break Special through April 15. Stay three nights and pay for only two.
