CITY OF OTHELLO NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CRITICAL AREA ORDINANCE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Othello City Council has scheduled a public hearing to consider amendments to review the final project performance on the Critical Area Ordinance Update funded by a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). This will be held during the regular City Council meeting scheduled for Monday, April 23rd, 2018, shortly after 6:30 p.m., and will be held in the Council Chambers, located at 500 E. Main Street, in Othello. The public hearing and all Council meetings are open to the public and our citizens are encouraged to attend. The City Hall Council Room is handicap accessible. Arrangements to reasonably accommodate special needs, including accessibility or an interpreter, will be made upon receiving 24-hour advance notice. SUMMARY This ordinance amends section 14.30.050 of OMC Chapter 14.30 titled "Commercial Development Standards" by removing the minimum front setback from the table and footnote verbiage corresponding to the minimum front setback. We are recruiting to fill a full time Housing Clerk position The successful applicant will perform case management of 130 units and determines continued eligibility of tenants and applicants, maintains waiting list and performs a variety of office and clerical duty as required. Preferred Qualifications: High School or GED English and Spanish speaking required Experience and Knowledge Skills: Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Work, Excel and Outlook) Good communications skills 10 Key Starting wage is $11.50 to $12.00 per hour depending on experience.
