April 1
A 27-year-old man was arrested for obstructing law enforcement when he refused to leave the scene of an investigation.
Report of vehicle prowl at a residence in the 1000 block of South Balsam Street. Unknown suspects stole victim’s wallet and charged about $50 at a local business.
Report of theft from a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd. A 56-year-old man allegedly attempted to steal about $155 in merchandise by not ringing it up properly in the self-checkout.
Report of theft from a residence in the 600 block of North Crestview Drive. Victim said unknown suspects stole a paddle boat and tackle box and contents. Estimated value $600.
Report of attempted theft in the 1200 block of West Gary Street. Reporting party said the ignition in his car was ripped out.
A 30-year-old man was arrested for residential burglary (domestic violence), second-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence) and fourth-degree assault (domestic violence). The man allegedly broke into his mother’s residence.
Report of theft from the parking lot of a business at 1165 N. Stratford Rd. Unknown suspect broke a window in the victim’s car and stole a backpack. Contents included textbooks and consumer electronics, estimated value, $400.
Report of juveniles smoking marijuana in a car on South Russell Avenue. Juveniles were released to parents.
Report of vandalism at a church at 1100 N. Grape Drive. Exterior pane of two-paned window was broken.
April 2
A man, no age given, was arrested on an outstanding Grant County misdemeanor warrant.
Report of abandoned vehicle. The car was determined to have been stolen in Nevada.
Report of attempted phone fraud. Reporting party said unknown suspects said he would receive a big payoff if he sent $450. He did not send the money.
Report of attempted fraud. Subject allegedly attempted to sell a vehicle by forging the registered owner’s name on the title. Reporting party said he tried to cancel the deal when he realized the signature was forged, but subject refused. Subject changed his mind when informed he could be charged with forgery and theft. He returned the money and was not charged.
Report of theft at a business at 1102 W. Broadway Ave. Suspect allegedly entered the store, took about $100 from the till and left the business. Case is under investigation.
A 22-year-old woman was charged with third-degree theft when it was discovered she was not scanning some items through the self-checkout at a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd.
Report of theft at a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd. A 43-year-old woman allegedly rang in items improperly while a 36-year-old man bagged them. The man was arrested on an outstanding Grant County warrant and a new charge of third-degree theft. The woman was cited for third-degree theft.
Report of vehicle prowl at a business at 2709 W. Broadway Ave. Unknown suspects broke out a window on the victim’s car while he was at work.
April 3
Report of vehicle prowl at a residence in the 1000 block of West Windrose Drive. Reporting party said five to seven juveniles were opening a door on the vehicle when they were interrupted by the reporting party, and ran away.
Report of vehicle egged at a residence in the 1100 block of East Mizzou Court.

A man reported that his son grabbed his shirt and threatened to punch him in the face.

Michael Bernal, 25, Ephrata, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for third-degree theft and two counts of third-degree driving with a suspended license.
Armando Antonio Gomez, 37, Soap Lake, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for two counts of second-degree driving with a suspended license.
Cameron Wickizer, 28, transient in Moses Lake, was booked for first-degree criminal trespassing and an outstanding GCDC warrant for possession of methamphetamine and heroin.
Russell Darwood, no age listed, Quincy, was booked for third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence).
William Kelly, 30, Moses Lake, was booked for residential burglary (domestic violence), fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree theft.

Samuel Alaniz, no age listed, West Richland, was booked on an outstanding Benton County warrant.
Billy Joe Cruz, 38, Quincy, was booked into the Grant County Jail on outstanding Grant County District Court warrants for third-degree theft and third-degree driving with a suspended license.
Emilio Mora, 31, Quincy, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
Gabriella Alvarado, 26, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections detention order.
Justice Arquette, 19, Longview, was booked on an outstanding juvenile warrant for residential burglary, second-degree illegal possession of a firearm and theft of a firearm.
Kerry Graham, 65, Moses Lake, was booked for felony harassment.
Nicholas Helman, 36, Moses Lake, was booked for third-degree theft and third-degree driving with a suspended license.
Randy Triplett, 41, Othello, was booked on an outstanding Pierce County warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.
Gennie Underwood, 36, Quincy, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.
