Leroy T. Gladen

Leroy T. Gladen, 82, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017 in Moses Lake, Wash. He was born in Kendrick, Idaho and was a longtime resident of Ephrata, Wash.

Leroy graduated from Kendrick High School in 1953 and married Dorothy M. LaBolle in 1955. Their daughter Linda K. Gladen was born on Nov. 22, 1955. Leroy then attended Spokane Community College and earned an Associate of Science degree in 1968. He was employed by Sears for the next 28 years, retiring on Dec. 31, 1996.

Leroy married Elaine E. Schuh at Davenport in 1980. They had a wonderful life together until Elaine’s death on April 4, 2013. Leroy continued to enjoy his retirement and companionship of his close friend, Marlene Hirz. He leaves behind Linda Ohia, Susan Taxter and Ron and Roni Schuh as well as nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
