Moses Lake Police Department

Sept. 21

Report of a male panhandling in the 200 block of East Broadway Avenue. Police responded and determined the subject was not obstructing traffic while panhandling.

Police contacted a man and woman in a vehicle in the 900 block of West Oregon Street. Drugs and drug paraphernalia were found in the vehicle and the suspects were taken into custody.

A juvenile was arrested for felony harassment and threats to kill after telling another juvenile he has a gun and is going to kill them.

A student at Moses Lake High School was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana. The student was released to a parent. Charges are going to filed against the suspect.

Report of a possibly intoxicated driver in the 900 block of South Juniper Drive. Police could not locate the vehicle.

Report of an unknown suspect attempting to gain entry into a vehicle in the 1000 block of West Lakeside Drive. Minimal damage was done to the vehicle.

A caller reported hearing two gunshots in the 1600 block of West Lee Street. The caller reported seeing a person in a vehicle chasing another vehicle. Police could not find evidence at the scene to confirm shots had been fired.

A woman reported a man knocked on her door in the 900 block of West Broadway Avenue. The suspect had been previously trespassed from the location and will be arrested for trespassing when he is contacted by police.

Report of a suspicious subject in the Knolls Vista Elementary parking lot. The subject was gone when police arrived.

A woman reported finding a mountain bike.

Cows were reported wandering in a woman’s yard.

A dog was reported stolen.

A woman reported that someone tried to break into her shed.

A woman reported that someone was banging on her house.

Roberta O'Connell, 47, of Warden, was booked on a Department of Corrections order.

Daniel Zellmer, 64, of Ephrata, was booked for possession of methamphetamine and a DOC order.

Rafael Chavez-Fernandez, 58, of Kennewick, was booked for manufacturing marijuana.

Cameron Wickizier, 27, city of residence not listed, was arrested on an outstanding Grant County District Court bench warrant for third-degree malicious mischief.

Ezequiel Sandoval, 38, of George, was booked for unlawful possession of a firearm.

Jose Moreno, 20, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for a DOC probation violation.

Aristeo Mireles, 22, of Warden, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC commitment for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Codie Cannon, 30, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Tamera Ryckman, 49, of Grand Coulee, was arrested and booked on an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant for DUI.

Sept. 22

Jesse Jones, 39, of Moses Lake, was booked for fourth-degree assault.
