Scholarships available for grape, wine industry students

MOSES LAKE — If you are a student pursuing a certificate, undergraduate, or post-graduate degree in viticulture, enology, or other wine-related disciplines then you’re in luck. The application process for more than $30,000 in scholarships from the Washington Wine Industry Foundation is now open.

People are encouraged to start applying for scholarships by visiting www.washingtonwinefoundation.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/WWIF-2018-Scholarship-Application.pdf. The application deadline is March 31, 2018. The Washington Wine Industry Foundation has awarded more than 170 scholarships totaling $225,000 since 2008 for education in the grape and wine industry.
