GEORGE — A Moses Lake man was injured in a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 90 near George early Tuesday morning.

About 6:50 a.m. Justin Harris, 56, of New Baden, Texas was driving a 2008 Jeep Commander west on I-90, about four miles east of Moses Lake, when he reportedly rear ended a 2004 Ford F-350 pickup truck driven by Bryan Johnson, 47, of Moses Lake. The Ford reportedly left the road to the right, rolled and came to a rest on its wheels. Harris pulled over to the left shoulder of the highway and parked, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Johnson was injured in the collision and transported to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake by ambulance for treatment. Harris was not injured. Both vehicles were totaled.

The patrol reports the cause of collision was Harris falling asleep at the wheel. Harris was cited by the patrol for second-degree negligent driving.
