Big Bend falls on the road to North Idaho

COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — Big Bend managed just 14 total kills and lost to North Idaho 25-14, 25-10, 25-7.

JoAndra Wilson and Savannah Bass recorded four kills each. Bass also added 13 assists.

Laurissa Kisler led the Vikings’ defense with eight digs.

Big Bend struggled to slow down North Idaho’s hitters in the second and third set. North Idaho hit over .400 in both sets.

Halle Hess had 10 kills and eight digs for the Cardinals, who recorded 38 kills total in the match.

Kayla Neumann added nine kills.

Big Bend travels to the South Puget Sound Tournament on Friday.
