Aug. 31

A man was cited for excessive speed after he was observed by an officer going 74 mph in a 35 mph zone.

A female student at Moses Lake High School was cited and released to her mother after she was found to be under the influence of alcohol at school.

Police responded to a shop lifting incident in progress at Walmart. The female suspect fled the scene on a motorcycle.

Report of a reckless driver on East Nelson Road. Police could not find the vehicle in the area.

Report of drugs found behind a business in the 300 block of East Fifth Avenue. Police responded and later destroyed the substances.

Report of a cellphone stolen out of a vehicle in the parking lot at WinCo.

Report of a chainsaw stolen from a residence in the 1000 block of West Lakeside Drive.
