MOSES LAKE DREDGE PROJECT INVITATION FOR BIDS The Moses Lake Irrigation and Rehabilitation District (MLIRD) respectfully requests comprehensive BID proposals to remove an estimated 50,000 cubic yards of sediment material from the southwest side of the Alder Street Fill in Moses Lake (known as 'the island'. This effort will hydraulically dredge and pump sediment material to a fixed dewatering site located approximately 3,000 feet away where your dewatering process, designed/engineered and clearly identified in your BID proposal will ensure all return water back to Moses Lake remains under 5 NTU Turbidity at all times. Your plan to remain within 5 NTU spec should be clearly identified in your BID proposal. This project will tentatively begin on July 1, 2018 and conclude by October 31, 2018. Contractor must have all required permits or licenses for professional work of this nature in Washington State, plus demonstrated experience and qualifications with a plan to have suitable dredging and dewatering equipment onsite, to be considered. Additionally: MLIRD reserves the right to make the final BID proposal determination MLIRD will supply 10" floating discharge line between dredge and dewater pond area but contractor may supply their own. Contractor to supply dredge and dewatering equipment + plan, suitable for project with appropriate algorithm for dewatering material within permit specifications. Selected Contractor will be responsible for notices, signs, and agency reporting to include any and all required notifications. All project chemicals used in dewatering process must be identified in BID proposal and approved for aquatic use.
