May 30, 1956 – October 20, 2017

Kelly Dale Norris, 61, of Ephrata, Wash. passed away suddenly in a car accident on Oct. 20, 2017. A celebration of Kelly’s life will be held this Saturday, Oct. 28 at 1 p.m. at the Bethlehem Chapel in Ephrata.

Kelly was born May 30, 1956 to Floyd and Enda Norris of Springdale, Wash. Kelly and his siblings were active in 4H and FFA, participating at Spokane Junior Livestock Show and along with their parents in the Spokane Area Sheep Producers and Washington Wool Growers Association, making many friends outside his local area, so wherever he went he knew someone.

After graduation from Springdale High School he attended Spokane Falls Community College and then went on to graduate from Washington State University. He moved to Moses Lake for his first job at Carnation after college and an old friend introduced him to Debbie Hintz, the love of his life.

Kelly touched many lives through his active involvement in AAU Basketball and 4H. He worked most recently at Quincy Foods as a maintenance manager, and was well liked and respected by his co-workers. His father Floyd was the kind of guy who never met a stranger, very outgoing and friendly, and Kelly took a page from his book.

He is survived by his loving wife Debbie, their sons Michael and Christopher, his brother Kyle (Donna) Norris and his sister Debbie (Bill) Sieverkropp.
