Oct. 24

Report of a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot in the 1800 block of East Kittleson Road. One of the subjects in the vehicle had active warrants and was taken into custody.

A suitcase full of clothing was recovered from a property in the 600 block of South Burress Avenue.

A juvenile was booked into the Grant County Juvenile Detention Center for fourth-degree assault after striking her mother in the face.

Report of an unknown subject attempting to tamper with wheels on a vehicle in the 2000 block of West Spruce Street.

Report of a cellphone stolen out of a woman's purse at a business in the 1000 block of North Stratford Road.

A woman was spotted laying on the side of the road in the 4800 block of Airway Drive Northeast. Police verified the woman was involved in a physical altercation with her brother. The case was transferred to the Grant County Sheriff's Office for investigation.

A woman reported a bolt was screwed into the tread of a tire on her vehicle in the 7900 block of Blue Jay Drive Northeast.

Michael Sheppard, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on an outstanding Douglas County Superior Court warrant for second-degree possession of stolen property, second-degree vehicle prowling and making a false statement to a public servant.

Lewis Edwards, 54, of Nespelem, was booked on an outstanding Department of Corrections secretary's warrant.

Alexis Medrano, 18, of Quincy, was arrested for reckless driving and outstanding Grant County District Court warrants for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Isai Alvarez, 24, of Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree malicious mischief and interfering with reporting of domestic violence.

Michael Vaughan, 24, of Marysville, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant.

Esmeralda Bravo, 23, of Wenatchee, was arrested on an outstanding GCDC warrant for fourth-degree assault.

Michael Clements, 44, of Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for harassment.

Malachi Paris, 21, of Ephrata, was booked for third-degree theft.

Oct. 25

Mercedes Odell, 28, of Grand Coulee, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree theft and an outstanding Okanogan County warrant for third-degree theft.

Jim Smith, 46, of Yakima, was arrested and booked for possession of methamphetamine, third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license and an outstanding Okanogan County warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.
