Oct. 20

Report of assault at Chief Moses Middle School, 1111 E. Nelson Rd.

A subject, no age given, was arrested on outstanding warrants at a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd.

Report of domestic dispute at a residence in the 1400 block of West Lee Street. A juvenile subject was arrested after allegedly hitting the victim.

Report of a vehicle prowl in the 1400 block of East Craig Street. Unknown subject in a Mercedes SUV removed the passenger door on an abandoned vehicle.

A 60-year-old man was arrested for an attempted theft of a vehicle after he allegedly was found in the car with ignition pulled apart. The man said he was working on the vehicle, but the registered owner said the man didn't have permission to be in the car.

Report of attempted vehicle prowl in the 1500 block of South Lakeway Drive. Victim said unknown suspect had attempted to get into her car.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident on West Broadway Avenue. Driver of vehicle 1 rear-ended vehicle 2, which was waiting for traffic.

A 20-year-old man was arrested for third-degree theft after allegedly walking out of a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd. without paying for the merchandise.

Report of theft from a parking lot at 711C N. Stratford Rd. Victim said his backpack was stolen from his vehicle. It contained a Ruger 9mm pistol.

A 33-year-old woman was arrested on an outstanding Grant County warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Report of noise in the 1300 block of East Crossroad Drive. A 34-year-old man was uncooperative when asked to turn the music down and was arrested.

Oct. 21

Report of a one-vehicle accident in the 4600 block of West Peninsula Drive. Driver went off the road, hitting a mailbox. He was cited for driving without a valid driver's license and driving with wheels off the road. A passenger in the car was cited for carrying an open container.

Report of possible fraud at a business at 4421 W. Prichard Rd. Employee noticed that two gas pumps had been tampered with; when employees looked inside they found unauthorized card scanners in both machines. Reporting party thought the scanners would have been put in place within the previous 24 hours. Pumps are being replaced this week.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident from the parking lot at 911 North Stratford Rd. Vehicle 1 was pulling out of the parking lot and hit vehicle 2.

Report of shoplifting at a business at 1005 North Stratford Rd. Unknown suspect took vacuum, estimated value $300, and household goods of undetermined value. Some of the merchandise was recovered.

A subject, no age given, was arrested on two outstanding Grant County warrants.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at 150 North Stratford Rd. Driver of vehicle 1 ran into the back of vehicle 2.

A 23-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding warrant for DUI after a traffic stop.

Report of a disturbance at a business at 302 West Broadway Ave. Reporting party claimed two subjects had broken his car's windshield and assaulted him.

A 35-year-old woman was arrested on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant.

Report of a burglary at a residence in the 400 block of South Schneirla Avenue. Report of burglary was unfounded, but two people at the residence, a 36-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man, were arrested on outstanding warrants.

A man reported finding a vehicle with its windshield and windows broken out and keys inside.

A man reported his vehicle stolen.

A man reported that his son took his vehicle apart.

A woman reported subjects following her.

A mailbox was reported stolen.

A man reported that he went to collect rent from his tenants and they threatened him.

A woman reported that her ex crashed into her car.

Oct. 22

A woman reported hearing people in her yard during the night.

A man reported that his shed had been burglarized.

A woman reported that her ex stole her dog.

Grant County Jail

Oct. 22

Miguel Santos, 40, Moses Lake, was booked into the Grant County Jail on an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Phillip Hall, 39, Orlando, Fla., turned himself in on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Nadine Kile, 30, Moses Lake, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for third-degree theft and two counts of third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Oct. 23

Brianna Carpenter, 39, Moses Lake, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence) and DUI.

Andre Zaragoza Balderas, 34, Moses Lake, was booked for delivery of heroin.
