Basin roundup: Soap Lake volleyball sweeps Liberty Bell

WINTHROP — Taylor Harvill was 13-for-13 serving and Soap Lake swept Liberty Bell 25-14, 28-26, 25-15.

Harvill added fours kills, three aces and 13 digs to her stat line.

Tracie Delgado had 21 assists, nine digs and two aces.

Makenna Johnson led the Eagles with six kills. Sophie Janikowski, Sierra Janikowski and Juliana Hernandez totaled four kills each.

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 3, Valley Christian 0

COULEE CITY — Almira/Coulee-Hartline improve to 14-0 overall, sweeping Valley Christian 25-12, 25-9, 25-11.

Ashley Mitchell recorded a team-high nine kills in addition to two blocks and Makenna Oliver totaled 17 assists.

Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 3, Asotin 0

ASOTIN — Lind-Ritzville/Sprague beat Asotin in three sets 25-20, 25-10, 25-23.

Peyton Curtis led the Broncos with 10 kills and three blocks. Ellie Gering had 11 digs.

Big Bend earns first win

MOSES LAKE — Big Bend earned its first win of the season during its crossover tournament.

The Vikings edged Everett in two sets 25-18, 25-19.

Big Bend lost the first two matches of its crossover. Highline defeated Big Bend 25-18, 25-15 and Clackamas beat Big Bend 25-19, 21-25, 15-9.

On Sunday, Centralia swept Big Bend in a non-league match 25-12, 25-16, 25-12. Treasure Valley outlasted Big Bend in a five-set non-league match 4-25, 25-11, 25-23, 18-25, 17-15.
