Oct. 11

A Moses Lake High School student lit paper on fire in the school and threw it in the garbage.

Report of an erratically driven vehicle in the area of East Broadway Avenue and state Route 17. Police could not locate the vehicle.

Report of a lawnmower stolen from outside of a residence in the 1300 block of South Lakeway Drive.

A woman who was previously trespassed from Rite Aid entered the store to fill a prescription. The woman was cited and released for first-degree criminal trespassing.

Report of a bicycle stolen from a residence in the 900 block of Northwest Sunburst Court.

Report of a verbal dispute between two people in the 1000 block of East Terrace Avenue. The parties separated and departed before police arrived.

A vehicle containing several minors was pulled over in the 1100 block of North Stratford Road. Police smelled marijuana in the car, but the occupants refused to allow police to search the vehicle. The vehicle was impounded pending a search warrant.

Oct. 11

A man reported that a business refused to allow him to leave, forcing him to push his way past an employee.

A woman reported gas stolen from her vehicle.

A female was reported opening mailboxes.

A woman reported mail stolen.

A man reported a female on the ground in front of his residence and a male pulling her around.

A woman reported that a 22-year-old subject threw her dog across the room.

A man reported windows smashed in on two vehicles.

Oct. 11

Quincy Terwisscha, 56, of Soap Lake, was arrested and booked on an outstanding Grant County Superior Court for two counts of possession of methamphetamine and two counts of attempted possession of a controlled substance.

Ruby Hernandez, 25, of Ephrata, was arrested and booked on two outstanding Grant County District Court warrants for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Gabriel Valdovinos, 37, of Quincy, was booked for fourth-degree assault.

Nathan Walsh, 22, city of residence not listed, was booked on a Department of Corrections secretary's warrant.

Andrew Heath, 30, of Moses Lake, was booked for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and an outstanding GCDC warrant for DUI.

Brandon McNew, 23, of Moses Lake, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for third-degree theft, reckless driving and second-degree vehicle prowling.

Timmy Ricks, 56, of Grand Coulee, was arrested and booked for felony harassment.

Robert Wiley, 50, of Soap Lake, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for violation of a no-contact order.

Curtis Minatani, 20, city of residence not listed, was booked on two outstanding GCDC warrants for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Oct. 12

Rogelio Mata, 26, of Moses Lake, was booked for unlawful possession of a firearm.

Michael Sierra, 19, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for driving without a valid operator's license.

Garret Goff, 26, of Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license and operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock system.

Brandon Lobie, 23, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for possession of meth.
