FFA judging teams among the best at Central Washington State Fair

YAKIMA — The Othello High School FFA judging team brought home several top honors from the Central Washington State Fair held in Yakima Sept. 26. Among them were a first place banner in Class 6 Livestock, and a second place finish by Alyson Shade who beat out all but one of 300 competitors from 61 high schools in the individual dairy judging. Sarah Wilson placed eighth in horse judging.
FFA advisor Joe Silva was ecstatic with the result.
“We are so proud of our judging teams,” he said. “All members of our teams really made Othello FFA shine.”
