Big Bend swept by Columbia Basin

MOSES LAKE — Big Bend could not keep up with Columbia Basin’s high-powered offense and lost 25-15, 25-17, 25-17.

The Hawks finished with 44 kills to the Vikings’ 20. JoAndra Wilson and Madison Powers led Big Bend with six kills each.

Former Eisenhower standout Jesse Sydney recorded a match-high 17 kills and nine digs for the Hawks. Kalameli Matauia complemented Sydney with 14 kills and eight digs.

Defensively, Warden native Laurissa Kisler notched 14 digs for the Vikings.
