Sept. 29
Suspect was cited for third-degree theft for stealing a bicycle at Moses Lake High School.
A 27-year-old woman was arrested on an outstanding Grant County felony warrant after a traffic stop for a shattered windshield. The car was impounded pending a search warrant.
Report of a highly intoxicated man passed out on the lawn at Samaritan Hospital. The 33-year-old man later was arrested on an outstanding Grant County warrant for third-degree theft.
Report of shoplifting at a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd. Subject was cited and released.
Report of theft at a residence in the 200 block of West Knolls Vista Drive. Reporting party said two 22-foot aluminum ladders were stolen from her yard about a half-hour prior to calling.
A 19-year-old man was booked on an outstanding Grant County warrant.
Report of theft from a business at 1224 S. Pioneer Way. Subject, later identified as a 44-year-old man, walked into the business loading area and stole decorative antlers, estimated value $1,000.
Report of male entering a business at 819 West Third Ave. with a weapon. Multiple officers responded, but the weapon turned out to be a plastic toy gun the man had found.
Report of attempted arson at a business at 507 E. Broadway Ave. The suspect, a 22-year-old man, was seen by witnesses lighting paper towels in a restroom at the business. The fire did damage to the restroom floor and moldings. The man was found in his car but was too intoxicated to keep his balance or form a sentence. He was arrested for reckless burning and DUI.
Sept. 30
A 39-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Grant County warrant.
Report of vandalism at West Cascade Avenue and South B Street. Reporting said unknown suspects unhooked the trailer and reattached it improperly, while stealing an adapter plug for the lights.
Report of attempted theft at a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd. The suspects, a 26-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman, attempted to leave the store with a cart of merchandise, estimated value $351.92. Charges are pending.
A subject, no age listed, was arrested on an outstanding Grant County felony warrant for robbery.
Report of two-vehicle, hit and run accident at a business at 1165 N. Stratford Rd. Driver of vehicle 1 ran into vehicle 2 as the driver was backing out of a parking space.
Report of robbery at a residence in the 500 block of West Crest Drive. Victim said the suspect kicked in his door, choked him and took money from his wallet. Suspect was located and arrested.

Report of vehicle prowl at a residence in the 900 block of South Alderwood Drive. Victim said unknown suspects broke the rear passenger side window on the vehicle and sole three sacks of vegetables.
Report of vehicle prowl at a residence in the 800 block of East Hayden Drive. Thieves stole a car jack.
Report of attempted vehicle prowl in the 800 block of East Lark Avenue. Driver's door handle and window were damaged.
A man, no age given, was contacted to discuss his dogs running at large, and was arrested on an outstanding Grant County warrant.

A woman reported that her daughter threatened to come and bleach all of her clothes because she wouldn’t watch the daughter’s children.
A man reported that someone forged his signature and stole his mail.
A woman reported that her truck had been broken into and the title stolen.
A business reported that a male subject lit the bathroom on fire. The fire was extinguished and the subject ran to his car and left.
A woman reported medication stolen.

A woman reported receiving fraudulent phone calls purporting to be from the IRS and threatening to sue her.
A woman reported that a female subject threatened to kill her dog.

A man reported that it appeared that someone was tampering with his vehicle and had drained the oil out of it.

A woman reported that her neighbor, who has guns, was threatening her.

Kasey Pillings, 24, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
Mary Ruiz, 27, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Benton County warrant for possession of methamphetamines, second-degree burglary and making false statements to law enforcement.
Ryan Klein, 41, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for fourth-degree assault.
Tyler Gibson, 33, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree theft.
